Bluefin brand launches with backing from AXA
The brand, which launches today, brings together the established advisory businesses of Thinc, PIFC, EB Consultants, Orbit Benefits and SBJ Benefit Consultants to form Bluefin Advisory Services.
At the same time, the insurance businesses of Stuart Alexander, Smart & Cook, Layton Blackham, The Davis Group and SBJ UK have come together as Bluefin Insurance Services.
The brand was first announced in September last year and will now cover corporate consultancy, financial advice, insurance broking, and wealth management.
John Simmonds, chief executive officer of Bluefin Advisory Services, says: “Over the last 18 months, we have focussed on expanding our service propositions through strategic acquisitions.
“Bluefin’s launch now represents the next step in our strategy to build a world class advisory business.”
