BDS Secured signs lead generation deal worth £6.3m

BDS Secured Loans has signed an exclusive deal with lead generation site Searchandapply.co.uk, which it hopes will generate up to £6.3m in extra lending.

The lead generation firm is also hoping to become the top result for secured loans on Google within six months.

Searchandapply.co.uk will use a viral marketing game to source leads from millions of users.

The game has been developed for Searchandapply.co.uk by top viral games developer Tamba Internet.

Tamba's past viral games have been some of the most successful in the world, with one played by some 16.2 million people over the last year.

Users of the game will be able to click on a link next to the game if they are interested in getting a loan, which Mark Clinton, director at BDS Secured Loans, hopes will generate an enormous number of hits.

To cope with the additional demand from the site, which will go live in April, BDS is taking on extra staff.

Clinton says: “We will start with a small group of people and increase staff as we see the impact of the site, the good thing about it is that it will generate interest slowly. We predict it will generate an extra 1,600 extra applications a year.”

Gary Taylor, director of Searchandapply.co.uk, says: "We are delighted to be so close to launching this project by choosing the best companies in the market place to work with. We are very confident that we will achieve huge success."
