AMI unveils dates for diversification roadshows
The trade body recently revealed that it would be holding a series of seminars around the country in order to help mortgage brokers who want to look at diversifying their current offering.
Chris Cummings, director-general of AMI, says: “I am pleased to be able to publish the timetable today.
“The seminars will cover a wide range of topics including equity release, growing protection business, lead generation techniques and structured investment products.”
He adds: “The day-long seminars are being held in response to member demand.
“While I think there will always be need - and desire - for consumers to seek mortgage advice, the mortgage market will be a tough place to do business in the months ahead.”
The dates are: Belfast - September 24, Cardiff - October 7, Liverpool -October 8, Newcastle - October 9, Birmingham - October 10, London -October 13, Leeds - October 20, Kent - October 22, Glasgow - October 28.
These events are free to members and priced at £50 plus VAT for non-members. There is limited availability so book early to avoid disappointment.
