Alison Beech joins Countrywide
In the newly-created role Beech will lead a number of key projects to enhance Countrywide's group performance and develop a framework for the organisation to grow in current market conditions.
The news follows Countrywide’s recent appointment of Guy Batchelor to the role of corporate business director.
Batchelor is developing a corporate business development strategy and customer relationship model to further enhance Countrywide’s strong links with the UK’s top mortgage lenders, packagers and commercial partners.
Beech was instrumental in setting up Rooftop Mortgages, a specialist lender owned by Bear Stearns. Rooftop was finally closed in July 2008, following Bear Stearns' collapse and subsequent sale to JPMorgan Chase.
Prior to Rooftop she managed her own organisational development and HR consultancy and was a non-executive director for SPVA, the MOD Agency which supplies personnel services to the armed services.
Over her 20-year career she has also been HR director for Guardian Royal Exchange UK & Ireland and managing director of Guardian Mortgage Services.
Grenville Turner, CEO of Countrywide Group, says: “Beech’s extensive industry experience is a huge asset that we are delighted to be able to call upon. She joins what is fast becoming the strongest and most professional team in the industry.”
Beech says “I’ve dealt with Countrywide in many different ways over the years and I’m pleased to now be working with such an experienced and talented team.”
