Abbey cuts rates on fixed and tracker deals

Abbey for Intermediaries is cutting the rates on its two-year fixed rate remortgage deal available through its key accounts by 0.10%.

The product is now available at 3.69%, up to 70% LTV and with a £995 booking fee.

Trackers have also been reduced by up to 0.06%.

Abbey is offering a two-year tracker for remortgages at 2.63% at 70% LTV and a £995 fee, and a two-year tracker for remortgages and purchases at 2.89%, up to 75%LTV with a £995 fee.

The lender has also launched a three-year tracker with no booking fees at 3.29%, available at up to 75% LTV.

Adrian Whittaker, key accounts director at Abbey for Intermediaries, says:  “This is an early indication of the commitment we intend to show the broker market in 2010.

“We have always said that it is our aim to make sure that, where possible, we would make a range of competitive products available exclusively to brokers.

“This is just one such step towards cementing that commitment and we look forward to producing many more over the coming year.”

The products are available from today.
